Did Jackie Chan recommend Mallika?
All indications are that Jackie Chan, whom Mallika Sherawat worked with recently in The Myth, was instrumental in getting the actor, her Hollywood film Unveiled.
All indications are that Jackie Chan, whom Mallika Sherawat worked with recently in The Myth, was instrumental in getting the actor, her Hollywood film Unveiled.
The producer of the film, John Lind, has earlier worked with Chan in Shanghai Noon and when asked whether it was Jackie who recommended Mallika, he merely smiled, saying, "I can't reveal that.
But yes, I have worked with Jackie in Shanghai Noon, and all those associated with Mallika have had good things to say about her."
"We saw how popular she was at the festival, and that helped us decide on our leading lady," says Lind. Mallika of course, pretended to be mock-surprised at the news.
